Apple on Friday shared the trailer for the upcoming Apple TV+ neo-noir thriller “Dropping Alice,” slated to debut on Friday, Jan. 22.
“Dropping Alice” follows the eponymous 48-year-old movie director who struggles with discovering relevance after elevating a household. When Alice encounters 24-year-old screenwriter Sophie, she turns into obsessed along with her and finally sacrifices her morals to realize relevance, energy, and success.
Apple has known as the collection “a love letter to the still-too-rare feminine director.” The present focuses on themes of jealousy, guilt, worry of getting old, and interpersonal relationships between girls.
Ayelet Zurer stars as Alice and Lihi Kornowski performs Sophie. The collection is created, written, and directed by Sigal Avin. It is going to run for a complete of eight episodes.
Apple picked up the thriller in 2020 to bolster its slate of international programming. The collection will air on Apple TV+ by way of a partnership between the Cupertino tech large and Israel-based Dori Media Productions.
The primary three episodes of “Dropping Alice” will debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, Jan. 22, with new episodes launched on a weekly foundation.
“Dropping Alice” will be a part of different Apple TV+ collection launching January, together with the second season of “Dickinson” and the second season of “Servant.”
